Hallowed Eve

Sleeping in a haunted house
I woke to my pulsating blouse
Hallowed eve of ghostly meetings
Blooshot eyes and creaky greetings
Downstairs spiders catching other bugs
Boogey men hiding under rugs
Trick or Treat me with a scary song
Plagued with nightmares all night long
Witchy concoctions bubbling in a pot
Count up your candy and see what you got.

I just read this to Reagan and when I was done I asked him what he thought...he said, "Awesome!" He said his favorite line was the last one (because it's all about the candy!). Gould job U2!

Hi BrenStar: Thanks for reading it to Reagan, and for the feedback. This add-on poem definitely has some of the dark side elements, as one would expect with a Halloween poem. Hope it didn't cause any bad dreams. Glad he liked the ending about candy. All's well that ends well.
