Toast To Ourselves
From the dock, throw a rock, make a splash
Beware that small ripple may spread like a rash
Rings of itch affecting people like me
Only love is the balm that will set us all free
Rise up over clouds of mutual destruction
To hear more bubbles, and far less sucktion
Try to pump the flood, instead of flood the pump
Ride your waves of karma like Forrest Gump
Grumpy frown clown still waits for a laugh
Watching the intern explain his pie graph
Dessert in the den with some add-on poems
Usually includes some beers with foams
Toast to ourselves with some jelly and jams
Hopelessly adrift, but happy as clams.
